CLIMATE, CONFLICT AND RESILIENCE: UNDERSTANDING THE NEXUS IN LEAST DEVELOPED COUNTRIES

Climate change is not only an environmental crisis; it is also reshaping security, livelihoods, and human rights in fragile contexts. This white paper, produced by a volunteer team, explores how climate risks and conflict dynamics intersect in three emblematic Least Developed Countries: Mali, the Central African Republic, and Ethiopia.

The findings point to a clear message: tackling climate and conflict in silos is no longer enough. Integrated, people-centred approaches can turn today’s compounding risks into tomorrow’s resilience.
